What is print shop software, and what does it do?
It keeps a print shop's quotes, jobs, invoices and payments on record. Bi'Bulut is cloud-based back office software for print shops and digital print centres: the print quote comes out as a PDF, the finished job is written on a sales receipt, the invoice is issued from that receipt and the unpaid amount stays on the customer's account. It does no imposition, costing or production tracking.
Does it calculate paper and printing costs?
No. You work out paper, plate, printing and binding costs yourself; Bi'Bulut keeps the price you arrive at as you wrote it on the quote and the receipt. Cost formulas, waste allowances and price tables by quantity are not in the product.
Does it handle imposition and production tracking?
No. Bi'Bulut is a back office program: quotes, sales receipts, invoices, accounts, payments and expenses. Imposition, job tickets, machine scheduling and production stages are not in the product.
Can I show extra finishes separately on the quote?
Yes. Write lamination or varnish as an optional item: its price is stated on the quote and is not added to the grand total.
